things i dont like about people…

•August 16, 2009 • Leave a Comment

1) blame you for ‘making their things spoil’ after you just use their stuff, when you are definitely not the cause of the problem or their stuff is not exactly spoilt. E.g using a lousy laptop surfing some website, then the website got jam and hang the whole comp. come on such things happen and are unexpected. what is your problem?

2) cluttering stuff on my desk. my table is crowded enough

3) have no qualm about borrowing stuff from you but when you need a favour from them, they will give you a hard time

4) after losing things borrowed from you, they rely on others to solve the problem for them

5) constant repetitive whining about how hard life is, how difficult is it to get things done. whining is necessary but excessive whining is irritating. Get a grip man.

6) People who don’t know how to be human, zhou lan you know? things like don’t finish up all the food on the desk, when cooking a meal ask others around if they want, unless they came back after you finish cooking.

7) people with foul temper

8) people who push esp on the road or at the door opening of mrt

9) people who are fed up and angry yet pretend there is nothing wrong. actually this is a little subjective… to be revised…

10) people who do not take logical steps e.g obviously that is the right thing to do why you still do it the other way??

singapore restaurants has super poor services.

Too many accounts where by i am seriously fed up at singapore services at restaurant.

1) some hong kong cafe at city link

scenerio:
Small table is filled with food, waiter simply pass food to my hand and walk away. Took me several counts of raising hands before i manage to get their attention just for a cup of water.

2) cafe cartel

above all those grumpy faces and slow service, the extremely is probably having to wait more than 30 mins just to received the last drink, coffee. called on 3 waiter during the 30 mins, but none deliver the coffee.

blah. I’m tired.

my resolution of the day, the next time i experience such bad services, i am going to insist on not paying the 10% service charge.

Fyp selection, heavy heart..

•June 10, 2009 • Leave a Comment

FYP selections appear to be one of the most scary thing i ever experience. haha.. Firstly when the list of projects are released, there is the primary hurdle of understanding the bulk of all the projects. Next, is the frantic arrangement of meeting up with the professors on the nearest date for a discussion with them. There is a need to understand the projects beforehand and thinking of the various ways to impress them during the meeting. . if confirmation was not receive on the spot for a particular project, there is a period of tension of waiting for the confirmation. At the same time, there is a risk of losing other potential good projects. Proper management is required.

well i certainly did learn from a mistake i make during this process, I should have gotten a verbal negative confirmation before taking the next step. This is probably what the call the work ethics.
oh well…bygones… it my loss anyway…

Did you say it? ‘I love you. I don’t ever want to live without you. You changed my life.’ Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in ’cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow
